Behind the scenes of filming!

Publicity of my photography expertise seems to have been paying off well as I was recommended to help out on a filming production for the Old Rectory on the Lake. It was only something simple like working the lights, and helping out in any way I could, which I was more than happy to do as sometimes I find you can learn a lot more by standing back and just assisting.

'The Old Rectory on the lake
nestles on the side of Cadair Idris in southern Snowdonia and enjoys spectacular views across Tal-y-Llyn to the steep sided mountain opposite. Situated mid way between Machynlleth, Dolgellau and the coastal village of Aberdyfi The Old Rectory on the lake offers homely accommodation and is the ideal place to get away from it all and unwind. It also is a great base from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park.'

We went to a few locations in the area for filming, some I am keeping quiet until the film is released.
I met a few photographers one of which camera man Adam Dorogdi who had travelled up from Cardiff to help with the filming.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Camilla Norberg from the Deco Shop in Machynlleth as she had worked on the Old Rectory and some of the rooms, interior designing.

Last but not least Sara Eade, who is a family and social historian, who helped during interviews to give some information as to the places we were filming and its importance.

I was able to get some behind the scene photographs and here they are! :)
