It finally felt like we had summer, until around 11th of April we were back to rain! Taking advantage of the fact that I had done a little gardening trying to salvage some of the plants and putting them in pots, I thought i'd try some macro style photography in my back garden, using the plants and whatever was surrounding to get some raindrop style photographs. I wanted to create quite impacting images with using the simplicity of lines from the plants, with the delicacy of the rain drops.
With only these couple of snapshots, I was happy with the results, especially for something unplanned and just on a whim.
It also gave me the chance to play around with various textures on both the plants and the raindrops, trying to get each subject to bring out the best in the other.
Overall I really like these images and they are extremely pleasing to the eye and could possibly turn into another project idea.
